Cool vibe in a small coffee house on a corner in East Nashville. Mu wife enjoyed The Beast, a blackened chicken sandwich with generous tomato and bacon slices. She had no roo left to eat the home fries. I enjoyed the stuffed French toast and pancakes, although it was too much for me to eat. I left half of the two large pancakes. I wish they offered the same entree, but without the pancakes. The French toast was stuffed with scrambled eggs and delicious, thick bacon. I added the optional real maple syrup, which was good and plentiful. We didn't try the coffee, though I might go back just to try a cup. I had already had two cups, made with whole roasted beans I had ground myself, so I saved that option for another day. Sam, our server, was friendly and helpful. Should I return to Nashville, I'd certainly put this stop on my list.

My wife and I have been coming here for several years, albeit once or twice a year. We live nearly 200 miles away in Southern Indiana. But we discovered this quaint spot while searching on Yelp. We fell in love with the food and the humble little hole-in-the-wall place that was an old home in a nice quaint neighborhood in East Nashville. We’ve had nearly every type of dish they offer for breakfast. (Have not had lunch there). Some favorites...Em’s Bowl, Steak and Eggs, Florentine Benedict, Omelete (BYO, Denver, ATB). I (we) really like the Savory Stuffed French Toast Pancakes with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and bacon (see pictures) Great service and Ben indulged me with brewing a lighter roast coffee too! We’ll come back here each time we go to Nashville.

What a lovely little restaurant located in East Nashville. We were seated right away and waiter came and took an our drink orders. I ordered orange juice and it was fresh squeezed as started. This place is very accommodating to vegetarians and they serve Morning Star sausage. Everyone that I went with enjoyed their food and said they would be back.

I loved this quant little restaurant. I waited about 5-10 minutes, and once sat I was in and out in 25 minutes. Perfect for a quick breakfast on my way to work. I ordered Em’s bowl and it was delicious! I read many reviews raving about the pancakes so I tried them as well. To drink, I had a wonderful apple cider with cinnamon. Their service was amazing. I was greeted quickly, food was quick to arrive, I was checked by my server AND another server during my meal. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered the Brie-Stuffed French Toast and a honey lavender latte while my partner got the Salmon Benedict with a sake Bloody Mary...everything was delicious The savory smokiness of the salmon paired well with the bright citrus of the Hollandaise sauce, and the creamy Brie-filled centers of the French toast pieces were a real treat (splurge on the real maple syrup...treat yo self.) We were seated quickly, and our waitress was pleasant. You'll have to find parking along the street nearby, but we had no problem on a Monday morning.

Use to live on this block and this was my go to spot -- came back for a visit and was so thrilled it was just the same and survived all the COVID chaos and tornado. Came on a holiday Monday and must say, there was quite the crowd -- would assume normal weekends are busy too. Line formed the whole time we were there. You can have breakfast cocktails while you wait and coffee, which was nice. Small inside but they make it work. Food was BOMB.COMB Always get the Em's Bowl w avocado. Never disappointed.

Super cute, neighborhood cafe. We actually stopped here just for coffee but ended up eating here because the menu looked amazing. Then came back 2 days later! Not much seating available so it gets busy and no waiting area so you'll have to wait outside if your table isn't ready yet. I also think your entire group has to be present to be seated. Had both bowls, chicken and biscuits, Brie French toast. Amaretto latte. Side of their home made sausage gravy. Everything was delicious! I'm not a French toast person because usually they're too big and too much but this dish was absolutely perfect! Tiny pieces of toast (just enough) and so delicious. Fruit was fresh.
